We agreed terms and price. Arrived, said they couldn't move everything at that price, so agreed what they could move for the pre-agreed price. Said they had finished but didn't move some garden waste bags because they were too heavy (weight was never a factor when I was quoted originally), but nevermind. Asked to swap the bags for something else lighter and they wouldn't after I was quoted for a full van load with space still in the van. The van arrived with some other items already in there by the way.

I have worked in the construction trade for over 10 years and I have recently moved into removals. This is because I have a property firm where removals are of great importance. IKEA furniture construction services £17.50 per hour. Minimum call out charge £40 Special day rate £115 - 7.5 hours Packing services £20 per hour. Minimum call out charge £50 Special day rate £125 - 7.5 hours Removal services £30 per hour. Minimum call out charge £70 Special day rate £190 - 7.5 hours Specialist/ Large scale Removal jobs: If I need to hire a MWB the rough rate is £40 per hour. With a minimum charge of £70.00. However if I need to hire a LWB/ XLWB the rough rate is £45-£50 per hour. With a minimum charge of £100.00. Please note, I can price the job as a one off quote accurately. If you can provide the pickup and delivery address. In addition provide images of the items that you require to be relocated. Please give the rough dimension of any key double height items that need to remain upright, such as a fridge freezer? In addition is it a two or three seater? Waste Removals services £35 per hour. Minimum call out charge £80 Special rate £225 - 7.5 hours Specialist Large-scale Waste Removals job: If I need to hire a LWB/ XLWB the rough rate is £45-£50 per hour. With a minimum charge of £100.00. Please note, I can price the job as a one off quote accurately. If you can provide images of the items that you require to be disposed of. Please give the rough dimensions of any key double height items that need to remain upright, such as a fridge freezer? In addition are you disposing of two or three seater chairs and what are the rough dimensions? Please note for orders of £200 and above there is a 20% deposit required before the job is completed. Really pleased we went with Jamie and his gang. The standard and quality of the work completed was impeccable. Very clean tidy workers, polite, friendly, punctual and put us at ease. It was very clear from day one they had all been given clear instructions by jamie and they just cracked on and got the job finished in a timely manner.
